History of hhgregg

Hhgregg, founded in 1955 by H. H. and Fansy Gregg, began as a small storefront in Indianapolis, selling washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and outdoor grills. Not long after, hhgregg increased sales by offering a wide selection of consumer electronics, including black and white TVs, radios, and other "newfangled" gadgetry.

Always striving to provide the best products and service at the best price, H. H. and Fansy Gregg were among the first in the region to sell what was then considered the ultimate in consumer electronics: the color TV. And the rest, as they say, is history. Hhgregg now operates over 80 stores in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia, with 8 more opening in 2008.
